You might ask us why we've come up with the decision of making I.H.A.W. an official organization.

That is, because we don't want to keep it to ourselves.

I.H.A.W. came out from a legacy, bounded to be shared by only four Arki students. We believe that this is something others would want to do as well.
That's why making it official would help us introduce this creative challenge to other students as well. Not just in the College of Architecture, where we belong, but also in the entire university where lots of talented, or even frustrated, artists exist.

In this intellectual community, the University of the Philippines Diliman, we know that there are creative senses that are effortlessly proven through different ways. We want that!

To give back. That is one of the symbols of our beloved Oblation.
In this way, we are not just giving intellectually, but also artistically.

Mind joining the league? ^^

Yaaaay! Guess what?

We're gonna be official. ^^

I.H.A.W. members have decided to register the group to become a duly recognized organization in the University of the Philippines!

Of course there are still so many things to take care of, but hopefully we'll get into this smoothly.
Greatest hopes set, and we are excited about this.

In line with this. We would like to share with you some of the things bothering us regarding this.
  • We don't have an adviser yet!
  • We lack people.

To be an official organization, a group must have a representative from the university faculty, that is, an adviser.
Since we don't know anyone who'll fit in this position, *sigh.
Also, I know that you're familiar with our number. ^^ 'Cause our blog says so.
There is a minimum of 20 pioneer members, five of which are officers.
So far we have nine working hands. And if my math is right, we still lack eleven.

Wanna join this artistic challenge?
You might want to contact us then.
You are very much welcome. ^^

*Cling, cling, cling*
Good bye ^^

2 visual artists are added.

Since so many ideas are popping out lately, we have to execute some of the first stories already!

Cheers for these two additional visual artists/drawers! Now we'll have more hands to work on these wonderful stories.

Stay tuned and wait for it. ^^ Coming soon.

And of course we are also hoping that because of this growing number,
more people would find this artistic group friendly ^^

Chen cheren... Chen!

3 new members

3 new stories

As we said, I.H.A.W. came from a desire to give back a FILIPINO legacy to our university.
It is not going quite the same as first planned,
but I would say that we are going far better than the initial.

And so, we have managed to gather interested people from our college (College of Architecture).
Or more so, from our circle of friends. ^^

We, the first members of this legacy, are very happy to have found special people to join us.
Hopefully, we would find more people coming,
wanting to be part of this very artistic challenge.

Oh, I almost forgot. we also have three new stories to share! ^^

Paano nga ba nagsimula ang I.H.A.W?

An animation seminar (particularly for Fine Arts students of the university) is coming up!

That's how we started. ^^ It was so random that we don't even remember the rest of the details. A brilliant idea from one of us who attended came up:

to make something worth leaving, a legacy; something that would make our fellow students (in a small scale) proud of the genuine FILIPINO VISUAL ARTS!

The idea gave birth to story plots.

The story plots led to interested comrades.

More people brought up more action.

Actions gave way to productions.

Productions came not only with visual arts, but
CREATIVE WRITING.
MUSIC.
GRAPHIC ARTS.
and lots of stuff, with a cherry on top.

All of these, put together, sprinkled with a LOT of randomness.

There it is, I.H.A.W.

So much things to say about our alpha history.
But, amazingly, it all started with a free cut. ;)
