History:
It was mid-semester when Wren, Reg, Kate & Jonie decided to attend an academic seminar sponsored by the College of Fine Arts about Filipino cartoons and animations. Through the inspiring talks and testimonies of Filipino artists, they realized the potential of Filipinos in this particular field of art. The concept of producing an original story concept and making comics out of it was started by Founder Wren. Joined by Regine, Katherine and Jonie, they formed a group named IHAW. The said concept was then planned to be accomplished during their stay at the University of the Philippines Diliman as one of their legacies to offer back to the university. Later on, the thought of producing comics evolved to creating graphic novels, visual novels and animations, published online. Many interested friends joined them as well and the thought of making this legacy known to all UP students, who might also have the same feel about this art, was corporately affirmed; thus, the birth of IHAW organization.
